First morning report.

So, as our feet tell us, we have a day of hiking behind us. Absolutely. We managed to do all the checkpoints in Riga.

We had our lunch still in Riga, because of starting quite late and because of decision to walk all the distance between the starting point and finish point, not just the parts where tram is not available. But Lauma can teach anyone interested how to eat watermelon with a fork.

We managed to leave Riga. All the signs showing its borders were left behind.

We walked a bit. Rested a bit. Walked again. Refused a kind man who wanted to give us a lift. He looked confused.
We also can inform that the wild strawberry harvest period is full on. Grab your buckets and go pretty much anywhere!

After walking and resting and walking and resting and looking and sunset happening behind the forest that made the forest look like it would be on fire, our feet aaid that the daily target of planned distance was reached, and as we are out here for fun, not for speed, we decided to set up a camp.

Now, the first lazy morning is enjoyed, first blisters taken care of, breaktast eaten and we are off to another day.
In general, with all this we wanted to say to those who might be interested - we are still alive.
